Welcome to the EPS Project

Scotland needs to give greater encouragement to ideas and businesses with high growth potential.Their needs are not just access to funding, but also the support of professional services and the availability of relevant information and company networks.

The eps project is a private/public partnership and has been put together especially to provide these requirements; it incorporates seminars and workshops by leading local professionals and increases motivation and commercial awareness though networking and mentoring. The EPS programme identifies and nurtures North East companies with ‘high growth’ potential and encourages rapid roll-out of business plans.

Our programme criteria:

• companies from the technology, energy, science, food or service sector
• aiming to increase turnover in excess of £750,000 by year 3 or
• increase the number of FTE by more than 15
• with a growth potential beyond the initial 3-year phase
• very strong personal commitment
• an innovative product or service
• limited displacement
• based in the North East of Scotland
